A Vision of Lucy by Margaret Brownley
Lucy has always dreamed of being a photographer for the Rocky Creek newspaper. He father does not want her to be a photographer because he doesnt see that kind of life for her. Lucy believes that if she makes some money with her pictures, it will prove to her father that her dreams can become a reality. Lucy's mother was a painter when she was still alive. Lucy also wants her father to consider her an artist just like her mother was.
Lucy seems to have bad luck where ever she goes. From fires to shootings to falling out of trees, she can't catch a break. Then Lucys whole life changes when she meets David Wolf.
This book is very inspiring because even though Lucys father is not supportive of her dreams, she never gives up. What is also inspiring is Lucys relationship with David, because they are such an unlikely couple.
I deeply enjoyed this book. Margaret is such a wonderful writer, who is also quite knowlegable. She provides you with many details about the type of old camera Lucy is using. Brown is also great with providing details about the characters. You instantly fall in love with Lucy and want to keep reading to find out what happens to her next.
I will cherish this book on my bookshelf and continue to read it again and again! Thank you booksneeze for providing me a free copy of this fantastic novel!
